So, due to previously mentioned back pain, and a recently purchased ipad, I am happily keeping myself busy while remaining in a sedentary position pretty much all day. Really, seriously, when this back issue has been dealt with I plan on accomplishing incredible feats to stun, amaze and impress. #41/366 02/10/2012
Nursing a sore back and playing with our new ipad. Thankfully I am able to sleep with no back pain .... very thankful for that. Not prone to backaches so I'm a little out of my element. Am exhibiting some "tip-toe around me please", behavior. The ipad .... nice to have a new toy to play with. #40/366 02/09/2012
A meeting this morning and then slowing down the rest of the day, I do believe I've entered a serious hibernating season. I'm happy enough to just be puttering and stoking the home fires. The days will pass with a little reading, then some chores, back to some reading, then some creative play. It's a whole mixed bag of restful activity over here. "I call people rich when they're able to meet the requirements of their imagination." The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James #39/366 02/08/2012
I seem to have very little to say here this past little while. It's been weeks of routine, which I am not complaining of. Life is just like that sometimes. It does leave some challenges as to sharing the earthshaking and tremendous. Really tho, the pluses with routines is that they are reliable and in them can be found some rhythm. In spite of routines or wild adventures this quote is one to live by. "Love has no age, no limit; and no death." ~The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy #38/366 02/07/2012
Up early this morning, saw the sun rise while on my way to the track. The frost cover gave off sparkles in the early sunshine. It's cold, but a good cold .... refreshing, red cheek kind of cold. Am wrestling with some unsettled feelings and can't quite put my finger on the cause of the unsettle. Like a dream that's gone fuzzy. Will have to let it rest for now and let it work itself out with time. #37/366 02/06/2012
Waiting, waiting, waiting .... on spring. Frost on hibernating ground is pretty much all we see, you would think, while looking out the window. But growth is out there, in hidden ways, waiting ways. #36/366 02/05/2012
I know many people will be busy with the Super Bowl this afternoon, not me. I'll be up and down, in and out and settling into some quality time, a nice quiet afternoon of reading and creating some. #35/366 02/04/2012
If we look hard enough, really search and pay attention, we can see tiny, fresh new sprouts peeking out, from winter cover. The neighborhood children are so anxious to play outdoors that while I tap, here, I can hear their squeals of delight, on the street .... in the dark. #34/366 02/03/2012
Friday .... I love Fridays, they are the start of three special days, everyone home. Everything/one in its place. Deep sighs of rest days, enjoying the important things days. "Marilla, isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" -Lucy Maud Montgomery #33/366 02/02/2012
Have had a busy week, busy like not what I'm used to. Meetings every day. Not something I plan my life around, to much busy makes for a very unsettled me. So, today's only activity, grocery shopping, will be a pleasure. Maybe just boring to others, but to me, a deep sigh of relief. Other than that I plan to putter. |
