At heart I'm a small town girl who grew up in the prairies, smack dab in the middle of Canada, along the Red River. While growing up paper dolls created from the Sears catalog began my fascination with collage and mixed media. Crayons, glue, scissors & paint were always on hand to feed & nurture a growing creative spark.
During my teen years my family moved on from the prairies & rivers, into the mountains. Eventually I moved onto a quiet island surround by the ocean and a year long display of green trees with meandering country roads. It's here, on my little island that all manner of creativity has grown and sprouted wings.
I spend my days enjoying the slowness of island living, spontaneous and intuitive bursts of creativity, gardening & the members of my family both furry and non-furry.
