 About Art By Naomi -
At heart I'm a small town girl who grew up in the prairies, smack dap in the middle of Canada, along the Red River. While growing up, paper dolls created from the Sears catalog began my fascination with collage and mixed media. Crayons, glue, scissors & paint were always on hand to feed & nurture a growing creative spark. During my teen years my family moved on from the prairies & rivers, into the mountains & eventually onto an island, surrounded by the ocean where all manner of creativity grew and sprouted wings. Now I spend my days enjoying the slowness of island living, spontaneous and intuitive bursts of creativity, gardening & the members of my family, both furry and non-furry.  |
